    Paving 'Green' Streets
    New warm-mix is being tested to see if it’s as effective and durable as hot-mix asphalt. Warm-mix asphalt is processed at 250-270 degrees, substantially lower than the 320 degrees required for hot-mix asphalt. Paving at lower temperatures will reduce heat and carbon emissions into the environment and should extend the paving season in cold-weather climates. Full Story >>

    Self-consolidating concrete mix includes Portland cement, slag and Class F fly ash, which helped improve flowability while adding to the architectural appeal. This unique 165,000-sq-ft museum is aiming for LEED-Gold certification, making it one of the largest buildings in Utah to achieve that designation. Full Story >>
