Hadley Brothers Working Throughout Region
With offices in both Utah and Idaho, Hadley Brothers Painting
has forged a reputation as a solid painting contractor with
the ability to complete jobs with tight timelines and stringent
requirements. The company is also well-traveled, with job
locations from Jackson, Wyoming, to Las Vegas.
Started in 1982 by brothers Brent and Cliff Hadley, the company
has grown significantly from its early roots. Brent Hadley
said they started working with their step-father Floyd Lloyd
(who was working for Edward Anderson Painting) in the late
60's, back when it was "tough to find a job."
"I couldn't really find a job - it was hard to get work
then," he added. So they went through apprenticeship
training, starting learning the ropes, and by the early 80's
the brothers were ready to set out on their own.
The company has been the painting contractor for several
prominent projects, including the original McKay-Dee Hospital
in Ogden, as well as the new McKay-Dee Hospital in 2000. Hadley
Brothers also recently completed jobs within Zions Tower in
downtown Salt Lake, as well as a 600,000 square foot manufacturing
facility for International Gaming Technology (IGT) in Las
Vegas, a company that makes slot machines and other casino-related
items.
"That's been a challenging project because we're working
38 feet in the air, painting structural steel, duct work and
piping," Hadley said.
The firm has also been doing work for Big-D Signature Homes
in the Jackson, Wyoming, area.
"They're very interesting projects," said Brent
Hadley. "These homes are put together out of old wood,
and we do the windows. We pre-finish the windows in our shop
(a 9,000 square foot facility in Driggs), along with doors,
trim and siding. It's good work."
