Idaho AGC Stays Strong
As construction in the Gem State continues to remain brisk,
the Idaho Associated General Contractors (AGC) gathered for
its annual convention Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at Boise Centre on the
Grove in downtown Boise to discuss the state of the industry,
as well as the prospects of another busy season.

Safety
Matters
In the early 1990s Bob Kohnke was on a mission. As director
of safety for the Idaho Associated General Contractors (AGC),
Kohnke worked very hard to establish a relationship with the
Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) in Idaho. The
result of that effort was a document that would later become
the blueprint for many safety-related partnerships between
OSHA and other AGC chapters throughout the U.S.

Keeping Compliance - Contractors Registration
Its been almost a year since a bill was passed that
makes it mandatory for contractors that bill more than $2,000
annually to register their business with the state of Idaho,
and so far, the results have been positive.
