Best Projects of 2008 in Utah and Idaho
Despite major concerns with the country’s financial markets, and fears of a nationwide recession, the design and construction industry in the two-state Intermountain region of Utah and Idaho continues to flourish, as evidenced by this year’s impressive list of 53 award-winning projects from our Best of 2008 competition.
We had two incredible Project of the Year award winners – the Utah State Capitol Restoration and the Boise State University Stueckle Sky Club – in addition to many, many other impressive building, highway, and civil/infrastructure projects. In all, Intermountain Contractor recognizes 41 projects in Utah, and 12 in Idaho. We salute the owners, developers, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers who all devoted their time, energy and skill to creating and building these amazing, life-changing projects.
