Slated for completion in June 2009, the Park City Medical Center features a natural, Western design that easily blends into the unique feel of Park City. This 140,000-sq-ft hospital includes 26 beds (with the ability to grow to over 100 beds), 6 OR’s, 2 procedure rooms with pre/post operation recovery, and the latest imaging and testing technologies (MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy, Radiology, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Density). The building will also house integrated physician practice space and physical therapy/wellness areas.

With the unique needs and requirements of Park City, this hospital design will be like no other hospital functionally and aesthetically. A few of the sustainable features include landscape and exterior design to reduce heat islands, water efficient landscaping, optimized energy performance, low-emitting materials, and light pollution reduction.. Differing from other medical designs, the facility will have pitched roofs and multiple window systems, and will utilize local stone for the extensive exterior cladding that showcases natural materials and color schemes within the interior. The site will be landscaped to showcase the natural beauty of the Park City area.
