This new 220,000-sq-ft, two-story masonry and steel structure is being constructed in two phases, thus allowing for no interruption to classes during the construction. The new building is adjacent to the older structure (as close as 15 ft) as it is being built in the south parking lot on the 50-acre, completely occupied site. The new footprint is very small for a high school (approximately 24 acres) so there is very little staging room. Materials have been ordered and delivered in stages as needed to accommodate the lack of adequate staging area.

The new building will offer students a 1,000-seat auditorium, gymnasium, a new vocational building and two future playing fields. The interior of the structure will feature an entry that is a three-story glass enclosure that is used as the student commons area. Hogan will also build the cafeteria, a large library, metal shop, science laboratories and the new central boiler.
