Built on 24 acres on the west side of Layton, Utah, the new Legacy Jr. High School is a 160,000-sq-ft structure highlighted by a curved sky bridge that connects the upper level wings. The building is two stories constructed with a combination of Atlas brick in the majority of the building and colored concrete masonry in the field house and performing arts wings. Layton City has partnered with the Davis School District to construct a shared gymnasium of 15,000 additional sq ft to be built onto the building.
