The plan for the new SUB included maintaining operations with as little interruption as possible during construction with careful planning and consideration. Among the many changes, the redesigned SUB includes a new Table Rock Café, currently the sole dining facility for the campus, on the first floor with an additional 125 seats, and a performance area just outside. The new kitchen for Table Rock will also support the added 9,000-sq-ft ballroom to expand conference services. The vision is creative and thoroughly modern with "high architectural expression" that reflects campus culture. The plan incorporates current technology and provides a flexible infrastructure for future technology. Will wrap up August 2009.
