The Moab Regional Medical Center, located in the heart of downtown Moab, Utah, is a 72,000-sq-ft facility. The project will enable Moab Valley Healthcare to provide the latest medical technologies, a healthy and nurturing atmosphere for patients—including almost twice the hospital bed capacity (50) of the current Allen Memorial Hospital. The project features a $3.5 million, 15,000-sq-ft, long-term health care facility which will have 35 private rooms, with large bathrooms, two dining/kitchen areas, two “living room”, or common spaces, an activity room, private “family” visiting rooms, nurses stations, exam/beauty rooms, laundry and support areas, as well as social work and administrative offices. The project will be the first LEED Certified hospital/long-term care facility in Utah.
