The approximately $200 million-plus St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center is a new medical facility replacing the former Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. The hospital is being built on Pole Line Road in a rapidly developing area of the city. The new facility comprises 500,000 sq ft of hospital space and 144,000 sq ft of medical office space on 40 acres. The main hospital is 3 stories with a 4-story patient tower. A cancer center operated by The Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) will also be located on the medical campus adjacent to the main hospital, but with its own separate entrance and identity. This is a regional cancer center and will function as a resource for several of the outlying St. Luke’s facilities. Two medical office buildings, one attached to the hospital and one freestanding on the campus, will provide space for doctor's clinics. A separate 31,000 sq ft utility plant and maintenance facility will also be located on site. The project is slated for completion in 2011.
